TRANSFER THOUGHT DOCUMENTATION

OVERVIEW OF "SET ENVIRONMENT"

Why use the “Set Environment” Step?

  • To create or add a new setting within your program, whether it be adding a new item to the setting or moving locations entirely — this can be used to accomplish the following:

    • New setting entirely

      • If the program includes moving to different areas, use the “Set Environment” step to switch locations; this can represent a movement between rooms, a shift from indoors to outdoors, or more.

    • New location within existing setting

      • If the program requires a new perspective within an existing setting, use the “Set Environment” step to change the existing angle or area being looked at from the perspective of the user.

    • Adding objects to the existing setting

      • If the program uses additional interactions within the existing setting, use the “Set Environment” step to add in these new objects, which can be used as prizes, hazards, or more.
